PA Keystone Information
Bentworth High School students are required to take the Pennsylvania Keystone exams following completion of Algebra I, Biology, and 10th grade English.
The exams are administered in the month of May each year to eligible students. All students must have the exam administered to them by the spring of their 11th grade year.
If a student does not gain proficiency on an exam, they will have the opportunity to retake the exam the following December or January, depending on the exam schedule. They may retake the exam until the spring of their 11th grade year if necessary.
Testing Window for the Keystone Exams 2024-2025

High School students who did not demonstrate proficiency in the Spring of 2024 session will retake the exams on the following tentative days:
December 4 and 5 - Keystone Literature Retakes
December 10 and 11 - Keystone Algebra Retakes
December 12 and 13 - Keystone Biology Retakes
High School students who are in the trigger courses for Algebra 1, Biology, and Literature will take the Keystone Exams on the following tentative days:
May 13 and May 14 - Keystone Algebra 1 Exams
May 15 and May 16 - Keystone Literature Exams (All 10th grade students and those who did not pass previously)
May 20 and May 21 - Keystone Biology (All 9th grade students and those who did not pass previously)
All testing will be online and will take place in the morning directly after the students check into homeroom.
